Quad Driving Route – Adrenaline Lines of the Border

2-3 days
150 km

Description

The Quad Driving Route – Adrenaline Lines of the Border represents one of the most dynamic components of the Banat cross-border active tourism network. It is designed as a controlled adventure tourism route integrating rural and natural landscapes through quad (ATV) exploration. The route enables visitors to experience the diversity of Banat’s terrain — from flat agricultural lands in Serbia to forested and hilly environments in Romania — through an environmentally responsible model of motorized recreation. This product complements the Off-Road Route – Wild Paths of Banat but targets a younger and more adrenaline-oriented audience, emphasizing safety, sustainability, and local service integration.

GEOGRAPHICAL AND STRUCTURAL OVERVIEW

Serbian section: Male Pijace – Kanjiža – Novi Kneževac – Ada

Romanian section: Caraș-Severin – Naidăș – Brebu Nou – Berzasca

This linear route of approximately 150 kilometers connects rural roads, forest edges, and field paths on both sides of the border, creating a unique north-south adventure corridor. The Serbian segment is characterized by open plains, riverside vegetation, and agricultural trails, while the Romanian section introduces challenging forest tracks and mountain slopes in the Caraș-Severin area, offering diverse terrain types for quad driving.  The route’s configuration allows for modular programs ranging from short two-hour loops to multi-day cross-border expeditions, combining exploration, photography, and rural hospitality.
